Will Leathergoods started at the beginning - searching for the quintessential leather. After months of working with tanneries around the world, we found the right hides and developed the vegetable tannage to be exactly what we had in mind - rugged yet mellow; natural in texture; bright in finish; properly oiled to resist scratches; able to patina with wear and become more beautiful with time. With the leather selected, Will moved onto the the details – dual turn-lock stations for adjustable and secure closures; contoured shoulder strap pads with canvas and leather grips; double adjustment on all straps to keep the pads centered; sturdy #8 gauge YKK zippers; rivets to reinforce every stress point. Leather craft is an ancient art, dating back to the Greek and Roman empires.
